What is RF

Using 3 phase industrial electrical supply, our RF generators employ resonating circuits to produce electric fields oscillating at 27.12 Mhz. This frequency is part of the ISM band reserved for use the of Industrial, Scientific and Medical devices.

This frequency band falls under the ‘Non Inoising’ radiation part of the electromagnetic spectrum which does not cause any permanent molecular change in the product to which it is exposed and does not change the DNA of any organic products.



How it Works

Water molecules when exposed to Radio Frequency energy tend to get polarised. These polarised molecules align themselves with the RF energy which is oscillating between positive and negative once every 37 nano seconds. This rapid change in orientation causes internal friction and heat between the molecules causing their temperature to rise and eventually leads to vapourisation.


Unlike conventional heating, mositure can be extracted from the inner layers of a product efficiently by using RF heating. Since conventional energy transfers heat from the outer surface to the inner layers of a product via conduction, the heating is uneven across the cross section of the product.

The use of RF energy thus provides uniformity in heating, efficeint moisture removal and increase in through put.
